Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

Walk-in clients are welcome, however appointments are preferred. Emergency cases will always receive top priority followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments.  We require a $50 deposit when scheduling a surgery.  If you must cancel or reschedule that surgery, we request 48 hours advance notice.

Drop-off and Boarding Vaccine Policy

For the protection of our staff and other pets, all pets dropped off for grooming, boarding, or elective surgical procedures must be current on Rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DA2PLCPV ( 8 in 1 ) vaccines.  Vaccines must have been administered by a veterinarian and proof of vaccination must be provided before admission.  If proof cannot be provided, these vaccines will be administered by our staff at your expense.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.

All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Upon arrival, all patients will receive a Capstar pill to ensure that fleas are not brought into our hospital and that your pet goes home flea-free.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and personal checks.  We also accept CareCredit and can assist in your application process.  For more information or to apply online, you can visit CareCredit's website at www.carecredit.com or click below to apply now.

Online Pharmacy Policy

You’ve seen TV advertisements for Internet pet pharmacies – they promote the convenience of home shopping with the benefit of big savings, but are they a wise option for you and your pet?  While most online pharmacies are trustworthy, some have questionable ethics and even some of the top pharmacies have been fined in several states.  The FDA has issued warnings about purchasing from online pharmacies.  For more information from the FDA please follow the following link: "Buyer Beware".  Also, please see the following brochure which explains the risks of online purchasing in more detail: "Pet Internet Pharmacies".

We do have requirements when working with online pharmacies.  Please call our office to discuss the requirements and any questions you may have with veterinary online pharmacies.

There are important benefits that our pharmacy offers you and your pet and keeping your pet healthy and happy is important.  From routine, to advanced optimal care, our veterinary practice is proud to offer the very best in veterinary medicine.
