Dr. Robert E. Apple Jr. is a native of Dardanelle, Arkansas and attended the University of Arkansas prior to admission to the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 1985. 

Dr. Apple has practiced veterinary medicine for over 20 years at Amite River Veterinary Hospital (Port Vincent), Helouin Animal Hospital ( Baton Rouge), Bluebonnet Veterinary Hospital ( Baton Rouge), and Range Ave Veterinary Clinic ( Denham Springs).  Dr. Apple currently owns and practices veterinary medicine at Watson Pet Hospital in Denham Springs. 

Dr. Apple is happily married to his wife Jayne of 22 years and has two sons Robby and Brian.  He also has a yellow lab named Watson and a chihuahua mix named Taco.  In his spare time, Dr. Apple enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
